Pyramids
Porte de la Chapelle, Paris
This project gathers 400 dwellings, offices and shops. They are divided into 11 pyramids. The structure is in black metal to create a contrast with the wood filling (aesthetic and ecological choice).
Depending on their size, the accommodations follow the principle of bipodes, tripodes or quadripodes. Their regular assembly, repeated and rotated by 90 ° four times gives naturally to the building the shape of a pyramid. The underside is inhabited by the offices, while leaving a central void illuminating the interior of the pyramids. Finally, the base accommodates the shops in the form of a hall.
