Dance complex
Eungbong Parc, Seoul
The project presents a dance complex respecting the ecology of the park in which it is located. It is made up of three oval volumes, each hosting a program (show, lessons and relaxation), as well as a public intermediate space.
It respects the three principal elements for a good ecology of a building : Air, water and vegetation. The double glazzed facade acts as an air shaft. The water from the land (with a drop of 16m) irrigates the internal vegetation, mainly through open channels in the hall. The nature removed during the creation of the building is reintroduced in the roof gardens (under the domes and on the hall).
